Single-segment application of MT

Question

I pre-translated a file and got matches from the TM.

One segment is a 74% match, but it is confusing.

I want now want to apply Neural MT (in my case Google MT, which is connected to my project) to this single segment.

I have searched, but cannot find a way to do this. Ctrl-T automatically invokes the TM, even if I put Google Translate as the top-ranked "TM."

I know for certain this is available in other CAT tools (DV - ctrl+g = machine translation only).

 It's not possible to use a shortcut to simply get MT irrespective of whether it was set up to provide a translation as you work or not. For that I guess you could take advantage of things like the weblookup tool, or even external tools such as GT4T:

 I can confirm this isn't possible. We did try to build a plugin for this some time ago but were unable to do that as the API didn't support it. Emma Goldsmith raised this a week or so ago and created an idea for it as it may be worth revisiting now as the API has changed significantly since the last time we looked:
