I work with Trados 2015 and have the problem that every time I open a new file to be translated, the source segments are already copied in the target segments, so that I have to delete each of them. I don´t do anything, I just open the file (unlike the other related questions).

Please go to the Global settings (FILE /OPTIONS) and make sure the following is disabled
Now when you open a new file/project, you shouldn't have a problem anymore.

I had forgotten to write that the option you mention (automation/copy source...) is NOT activated. That´s strange, or is there maybe another possibility??
