Importing sdlxliff files into a TM: "Import failed. The file could not be processed."

Question

Hi, I've regularly imported sdlxliff files into TMs in batches and apart from the odd segment with an error, it's always worked fine. 
 Yesterday I updated my PC to Studio SR1 16.1.6.4276 and today ALL the files I want to import into TMs return the error "Import failed. The file could not be processed." 
 This happened with two different batches of files I wanted to import into two different TMs. 
 Just to check I wasn't going crazy I switched to my laptop, which doesn't yet have the latest Studio version installed and - hey presto, it works. However that's not a long-term solution. 
 Any insights into why this is happening? Is it a bug in the latest version?

Thanks Oana, I ran a repair and that in itself didn't fix the problem. 
 However I then started getting error messages while working ("translation memory or TM container appears to be missing...)" 
 so after further research I upgraded the TMs and can now perform the imports that were originally causing me a problem. 
 Interestingly, even though this problem is attributed to TMs created in legacy Studio versions, one of the TMs I had a problem with was fairly recent and created in Studio 2021. The latest release seems to have triggered an issue there.
