TM corruption when syncing to a NAS

Hi... I wonder if anyone can help me with this issue?

I sync my desktop working files and TMs to a NAS, but since I started doing so, I've had a series of problems with TMs becoming corrupted. The issue doesn't affect other Studio files.

Has anyone else had this issue? If the TM Repair utility can repair the TM file (which is not always the case), Studio 2021 can still recognise it as corrupt, but only sometimes. And even those TMs flagged up as corrupt can still be opened in the Translation Memories View window.

So far, I've had to reconstruct 3 large TMs, with the inevitable waste of productive time.

I think the problem may be that my desktop has been syncing continuously with the NAS, and that perhaps the TMs I've had trouble with have been trying to do their normal job and sync at the same time. So for the time being, I'm going to suspend the syncing operation throughout the working day, and then do a "catch-up" sync at the end of the day. Maybe that will work, but in the meantime, any other insights or help would be gratefully received...
