Since some time, Studio does not want to create target excel files anymore. I create the project myself proceeding like this:
1. I make a copy of the source file
2. I drag this file into Studio and create a project
3. After translating I choose batch task 'create target translations'
Before, Studio used to create an excel file but now I get the error 'object reference not set to an instance of an object'. I do can create .sdlxliff files, but no excel files.
Could you please advice? Thank you!

It would be helpful if you could post the full error stack
Also - if you take a test file, are you able to drag it into Studio- select Single File Translation- Open in Studio, them immediately Save Target As?
I would also check that the file type is enabled in File> Options>FileTypes and ensure you are using the original source file.
