I just purchased the 2021 version of Trados Studio and already updated. So I'm currently running the SDL Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 16.1.6.4276 version. I confess that I was surprised that this latest version is slower (by about six seconds, the 2021 version needs about 26 seconds) than the previous one when I start it: is that normal?

When you are starting the Trados Studio 2021 app, you are getting a few loading screens, such as loading plugins (if you have plenty of plugins it may take longer to load), initializing views, and other screens. Indeed,I can confirm that Studio 2021 takes longer to load than Studio 2019, so this is not something related to your device, it just something general. As our developers are trying to improve the software with every cumulative update, I believe they aim to create a faster loading version.
