I have trouble with auto-propagation of numbers. When I confirm the source segment 00:00:00 as 00:00:00 then source segments 00:12:00, 00:08:00 etc. are all propagated as 00:00:00. This has happened to me other times with other examples and different memories, this is very frightening because you may no realize the mess you are creating in your job.
What is the setting/problem that I am missing please, does it have to do with variable recognition?

Do not auto propagate numbers. Use display filter to see only segments with no translatable content, copy all source to target, confirm and lock.
Use this for filtering: ^[\d\W]*$
