I tried many things including reorganisation of TBs and resetting layout.
I tried many things including reorganisation of TBs and resetting layout.
When that happens to me I restart Trados Studio, which seems to fix it.
Thanks John! MT behaviour has been erratic. It sometimes work for the first few terms. Other terms are not even recognised and I have to manually search for them.
Try to remove your termbase from the active project and then add it again without restarting Studio. It works for me.
Thanks Stepan! I tried that too. It seems that it is an inherent issue. Don't know what to do. My translations are full of terminology.
Terms won't show up in Studio 2021 even though they are recognised.
What does this mean exactly? If they are recognised where are you looking to see that they are not showing up? Can you share a screenshot? It almost sounds as though you simply closed the term recognition window, so you can see the terms are recognised in the editor, but can't see them in the term recognition window. Maybe you just need to do a reset window layout?

Yes, I have to admit, it didn't work for me either. I only could make it add new terms but the terms that were already there still didn't show up.
What really helped me was reorganizing my TB with Glossary Converter. To do that, choose sdltb as output file format, then drag and drop your problem sdltb file. GC will create a copy of your termbase with .output.sdltb added in its filename. I don't dare to say it will help you, but you can try it either.
Thank you, Stepan! I will try that.
Hi Paul! Issue is exactly as shown in Stepan's video above, and term recognition window is always open. Sometimes, it works for the first few terms in a project but then it stops. I have just completed a large project and I had to search for most terms manually. I tried reorganising, detaching and attaching and resetting layout. I will create new termbases, as Stepan suggested.
Hi Paul, I haven't been able to resolve the issue, and I have to search manually.
