I need your advice for the merging of my two server-based TMs. I exported two TMX files from both TMs and created a new TM. Now I need to import these two TMX files into a new TM. While importing, I have different settings to choose from: The imported data will be primarily used with new, native source files or files processed only with SDL Trados Studio, The imported data will be primarily used with presegmented legacy SDL Trados ITD files and TTX files, The imported data will be primarily used in mixed scenarios. I’ve read the description of these options in the SDL documentation, but I still don’t understand the practical difference :) Which option would you advise me to go for in my case?
