Error importing TMX file to Trados Studio 2014

Question

I am trying to debug what is causing an error when trying to import a TMX file downloaded from TM-Town into Trados Studio 2014 (I am a developer at TM-Town). A sample file can be found here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/misc-tm-town/tm-town-alignment_parallel_text_1_parallel_text_2.tmx 
 It is valid XML and to my knowledge it follows the TMX specification. The error I receive is "The translation memory could not be loaded: 'Expected "tmx" (System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl)' 
 Any details on what part of that file is causing the import issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Kevin, The error is in your tmx namespace. Please specify the namespace as follows and it should import correctly: Before: After: Trado 2014 TMXReader specifically checks for the above namespace, specify any other namespace for tmx and it will fail.

I don't know why this fails at the moment, but a workaround is possible if you have Trados 2007? I created an empty en-US to jp-JP 2007 TM in Workbench and imported your TMX without a problem. I then exported that to TMX and upgraded it into Studio 2014. 
 
So this might be useful for now, but I will investigate this further and let you know what the exact problem is.
