Cursor disappearing

My problem is the same. It persist also by disconnected mouse. It must be something else. It´s very, very frustrating. I am very disappointed by Studio 2021.

  • Please can you provide some details around this?  When is the cursor disappearing?  Does it only occur when you do something specific?  What version of Trados Studio (full build number please)?  What version of windows are you using - build number if possible?  Have you updated all your drivers for the version of woindows you are using?

The information provided is lacking somewhat and is hardly a qualified bug report and is only for a couple of users.  More information is required before this is something that we would consider a bug that we need to fix.

We have no idea whether this is related to CRQ-20787 or not without more information.  That bug is is about cursor duplication in the Studio Editor while copying results from the concordance window,  This does not sound anything like the issue you seem to be suggesting here.

    Windows 10 Pro, version: 21H1,
    configuration: 19043.1165
    Trados Studio 2021 SR1, version 16.1.8.4404
My impression is that when you press the space key, the cursor jumps to the mouse pointer - regardless of where it is - and possibly also activates one of the available functions. If the mouse pointer is somewhere in an earlier translation unit, writing will continue there. Sometimes a feature is suddenly activated. When I move the cursor to the lower right corner of the target language field, sometimes writing in the target language field continues normally.
