I think the main reason for concordance not to work, is if the TM isn't properly enabled.

Please ensure also the box next to the TM is NOT ticked.

If you still have problems, try removing the TM- restart Studio and then add the TM back into the project.

Should problems persist, please attach screen shots of your project settings and confirm where you are saving the TM- local or in the cloud etc.

At present I just have the TM open in the TRanslation Memories tab and do a concordance search that way as a workaround.

Hello Marie Celine Grech,

Maybe it would help to move your TM up in the list so that it will be searched first. Highlight it (it's displayed with a blue background) and then use the blue up arrow next to "Remove" to move it up until it's displayed as the first item in the list.

I am having the same problem, also with Trados Studio 2019 SR2. I received the package from a client, my project settings are

TM is stored locally on my hard drive, confirmed translations are saved in the TM.

Any solutions would be very much appreciated

Has anyone of you set up translation memories BOTH in All language pairs AND in the corresponding language pair?

Yes they are set up in both. This just stopped working for me last week. Out of the blue. Without changing  any settings or anything. That's why I am perplexed.

In such case the TMs are not expected to work. You should have them setup either here OR there. Remove them from one point.

The TMs work as they are. And I have now removed from the specific language pair but the Concordance Search button is still greyed out. I am really puzzled.

Well, TMs are not expected to work with the settings you had. It puzzles me, that they did work.

This said, is the concordance still inactive, when you select text and press CTRL+F (source concordance) or CTRL+SHIFT+F3 (taget concordance)?
