Hi everyone,
I recently got assigned a review of an InDesign file through Trados Studio, and I saw that the target contained a pair of tags that didn't appear in the source. I thought this was a mistake from the translator, but despite all my best efforts, I couldn't get rid of them. Even when copypasting the source into the target, it automatically came back. Curiously, when I deactivated the display of tags, the only tags that disappeared were the odd ones. The tags contained the name of a color (orange, I think), and typically encircled a square symbol (probably a symbol that Trados Studio couldn't read).
I can't figure out what caused this, and I couldn't check the preview since the file was an InDesign (IDML) and I don't have the software, so I wasn't able to make sure the source appeared differently from the target. Does somebody have an explanation for what happened?
Thanks in advance and have a great day!
