  • Hi

Thank you for your question although I am struggling to appreciate what the exact question is.

I think what you are asking is: You have a whole file as part of a project. This project contains either a single or multiple TM's.
Your file has been translated, but the translation has been changed. How do you ensure that its the latest reviewed/amended translations that are stored in your TM(s)?

If I correctly understood your question then here is my answer:

You can amend translations at any point in your projects life cycle.
You can update the TM(s) as many times as required.

This is best done at project level by doing to:
    1. Project view in Studio
    2. Ensure project is selected (bold)
    3. Batch Tasks
    4. Update Main Translation Memory
    5. Review Settings namely "Overwrite existing Translation Units"

Definition of this is: Import the new TUs and overwrite the existing TUs in the TM.
    * Depending on segment status of amended segments you may need to enable differently

Finer details of this process can be seen here: SDL Documentation

    I
     trust this helps
