Hi there,
Will there be any problems running Studio on Windows 11? Or, should I wait installing it until you have checked this?
Best regards,
Knut

I did just that and it seemed to work for Multiterm... once. After restarting Multiterm, I was able to open a TB, then I restarted Studio and Multiterm is now back with the original problem and error message... and Studio keeps saying "Searching for terms"...
please create a new thread with the detail you have provided here and I’ll convert it to a case for you so a support engineer can take a look. We have an automated case conversion solution that works on the basis of one thread one case.

Just did. Thanks so much for qui quick and efficient support, as always :-)
Thanks again for helping with this, Paul. Finally the solution was to uninstall Multiterm, restart and reinstall it. Now everything works fine :-)
Hi Rene, thanks for telling how you solved it. I can update to win 11 too.
If I understood all correctly: you processed the update to Win 11 without uninstalling Studio. There was no problem. You just had to uninstall Multiterm and reinstall it.
Did I understand it correctly?
Thanks in advance.
Francis
Hello Francis. Yes, that's exactly it!
Hi Michael! Still no problems? I plan to switch this weekend.
Hi Knut,
Still working OK, I haven't been aware of any issues. Having said that, I'm not aware of any benefits/improvements in Windows 11, apparently they are mostly "behind the scenes". To start with, the Snipping Tool had gone and the new version didn't work - that has been fixed. Another annoyance is that you can't choose the position of the Taskbar - it is fixed at the bottom, the only option being left or centre. In Windows 10 I always had it on the right-hand side, mainly to gain a little height on my landscape monitor but it was also a matter of personal preference. The new Start Menu is also a bit of a mess - looks like change for the sake of it.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the update! I seldom appreciate updates as you lose things you are happy with and there is a bunch of new things you are not interested in and you wonder if the new stuff behind the scene is an improvement for you or the business that sells you the thing. But the problems when not updating will accumulate as the time goes by, so I just want to get it over with in the beginning. And sometimes there are something new that makes life easier, which is good.
