What's the easiest and fastest way to overwrite segments that I've translated in Editor after revising a translated document in Word?

Hello, 
 I usually start my Word translations by using Trados Studio 2021, Editor, but it's so much easier to revise the translation in Word. However, how do I make sure my revisions overwrite the segments I originally confirmed in Editor. 
 And, I often receive revisions from my clients after a translation. I usually take both the French and English versions and align them in Trados. However, I often see the original segment and the revised segment appear when translating a similar document that has copied and pasted previous translations. How do I overwrite those, too?

 You either use the update function in Trados to update the original file whch will pretranslate, perfectmatch and show you the updated version with just the missing parts for you to translate... or you create a new project with the new file and pre-translate from your TM. 
 I'd favour the update feature. It's the only way the FL version can make use of the perfect match action as it's baked into this feature. Just right-click on the file in the files view and select update file:

 This is intended for light editing that was made in context using the native file application. You save your translated target file, then revise it in whatever application the file is intended for (Word, Excel, InDesign, Framemaker... etc.) and then import it back into your project with this feature.
