When I enable whitespace characters in Trados 2021 and there are enters in the source segment, I see big empty spaces, as if the font for line breaks is set to 70.
The empty space is not shown in the translation segment, so I'm not sure what the cause of this is. Anyone have any idea?
A tab symbol possibly? Or are you showing formatting? In this case please switch to "Show all tags but do not show formatting" setting in File -> Options -> Editor.

Thanks, but unfortunately your solution didn't work. It's not a tab either, but a line break. So when whitespace characters such as line breaks, spaces, tabs etc. are shown, for some reason the line break character adds a bunch of empty space in the source segment, but not the translation segment.
