Over the years I like many people have gotten the little informative "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error on certain segments.
Today I found out that if the text "f." is found in the source text this error occurs. In Norwegian this is the same as b. (born) in English.
What the f. is happening here? :-)

Please save the error to your desktop and attach to the thread.
As you have posted a different error, I will go out on a limb and suggest there is an issue with the 2014 installation and this has become corrupted.
Please repair/reset Studio-

I tried the repair / reset option you suggested and it did not fix this problem.

Thanks for the error stack- this does provide useful information.
It's worth noting the 'Object reference....' error is purely generic and doesn't tell anyone anything apart from there is a problem.
The problem is apparently stemming from TM that is open in the TM Views (I no longer have 2014 installed, so cannot try and reproduce this).
If, as I suspect, you are working in the Editor, please ensure you close and remove the TM in the TM maintenance view first.
Then open the project to work on.
I would also perhaps suggest, repairing the TM- and even exporting to TMX and then reimporting into a newly created TM to ensure the TM is clean.
