No your file types seem OK in part. What is catching my eye is it says "Excel 2007 vs 2000) as part of the ID verifier.
In the meantime, your error does not seem to match "default" 


Did you create your project, or did someone else prepare the files for you?

At what point do you get the object error, as its not seen in your screen print.

In the meantime,if this is urgent many would:

• Ensure TM is to date
• Create New Project
• Pre-Translate
• Save Target As
