Hello, when are you going to launch Trados Studio 2021 SR2, to see if all the problem that SR1 present, solve? The projects do not appear on the project list, some plugins neither appear and when I say to install a plugin for 2021 only appears 2017 on the list of the plugin setup, because I have installed also Trados 2017.
might anybody of you help me to solve this?

In regard to the release of SR2- watch this space. Its not long now as we complete final testing.
Could you let us know the exact version of Studio you are running please, and which plugins you have issue with.
I will then try and reproduce this.
Screenshots where applicable would also be useful.

Hi Steve,
I have been 'watching this space' as well as getting e-mails to say it's coming 'soon'. Can you tell me if the Projects View 'Status' display filter has been fixed? Every time I close Studio with this set to 'In Progress', when I load Studio again it is still set to 'In Progress' but now displays ALL projects in the list, including 'Closed' I think this bug arose in the first update to Studio 2021 and has survived all subsequent updates, despite assertive statements that it was being fixed. So, have you guys finally nailed it?

I've just installed build 16.2.8.9097 of SR2 and the Projects View Status filter STILL DOESN'T WORK. Opening Studio with 'In Progress' selected is showing me 2 In Progress projects and 2 Completed projects.

I ran a few tests and this seems to be working for me. Can you share a screenshot of Studio showing all the filters and also all the projects in your list. Don't need to see the project names, but the rest of the information will be helpful.

Hi Paul, here's a screenshot where you can see the top 2 are completed but the status filter is set as In Progress.
Obviously I'd love a solution, but ideally one that won't involve deleting those 3 famous xml files and losing all my customised settings, set up so long ago I've forgotten what and where they are. Simon

Do you also have any projects open while you do this? If you do try closing your projects and then attempt the filter... any difference?
It seems as though this could be related to a known issue (as you noted) CRQ-23550, which didn't get addressed with SR2. We've flagged it for attention as we're currently investigating the things that are coming up for users since updating.

The question of whether or not I have any projects open is irrelevant, assuming you mean and project files open in the Editor view.
The sequence of events is as follows:
1. I finish working in Studio, for example, at the end of the day or to delete some TM update log files, etc.. The Status filter is set to In Progress.
2. I close Studio.
3. I launch Studio (whenever) and it opens in the view last used (Projects, Files...). In the Projects view the Status filter is set to In Progress but the right panel lists ALL projects, whether in progress or completed.
4. If I close Studio (at #2) after resetting the Status filter to Completed, then it will re-open in Projects view showing Completed projects only. I can then switch to Status=In Progress and see only these projects.
Article 000016267 exactly describes my problem and yes, I have known about this report for some time.
The question of whether or not I have any projects open is irrelevant, assuming you mean and project files open in the Editor view.

It's not an irrelevant question. The reason I asked is because CRQ-23550 mentions this as one way to reproduce the problem. So I wanted to know if this was caused for you by the same problem, or if it was something else.
But perhaps you just meant it wasn't relevant to how this problems arises for you. So thank you for the additional information, I'll add this to the CRQ so we have a more complete picture.
