What Studio and Multiterm versions are you using? If you say you haven't used Multiterm in a while, please check that it has the latest updates installed, in Help>Check for updates.

Then export the termbase to an Excel and import the terms back into a newly created TM. And try again.

I'm using the 2021 versions and I have the latest updates installed. I have tried exporting to and importing from Excel, but the problem persists.

It sometimes help playing with the hitlist settings, I don't know why. When I try to open the termbase from the translation interface, I get this window:

What happens if you try adding the term via Studio interface? Does it happen the same?

If that's the case, please go for a Studio/Multiterm repair, following the workaround provided here:

Hi Oana,

Sorry for not specifying this earlier: adding terms via the Multiterm interface is possible, but not via the Studio interface.

I tried the first workaround, but the repair option isn't available:

I then proceeded to the second worksround to reset the basic settings, but nothing has changed.

The above screenshot shows the apps section, please run the repair via Control Panel>All programs>uninstall a program.

Also please let me know the exact version of Studio  Help>About Trados Studio
