I have to deal with a two-column (bilingual) bill of material (in Excel) in which part of the terms in column A already have been translated in column B and these pre-existing translations should not be touched. Can anyone please direct me to a guide how to prepare the file in a way to obtain an XLIFF where these pre-existing translations are displayed, but automatically locked?
why don’t you just use the bilingual excel filetype for this? No need to convert to xliff to achieve what you want.
