Disconnecting TM

We receive more packages from a customer - the same project, more target languages. Both include a project TM. We open the first package, everything is fine. But when we open the second language (it doesn't matter what language it is or which one do we open first), the TM of the first language is automatically removed from the project (the TMs had been connected in All language pairs). When we open third package, again the previous TM is removed and the project contains only the last TM. Don't know about older versions of Studio, this happens in 2019 and 2021. My question is - is this a bug or is this a function?

  • Hello, thank you for replying!

I compared project settings (in .sdlproj files). I copied them to word and used function compare. I can see there are only changes in GUID, target language and analysis.

I understand when I upload the second (or third etc.) package, the entire project is updated and the final settings are taken from the last uploaded package. But I think it is a strange behaviour that TMs are also updated and that TMs from previous packages disappear.

However, I'm not sure how the customer creates the packages. I just wanted to ask if this is correct behaviour of Studio or if there is some mistake in creating packages on the customer's side and find something we can recommend him to do.
