Since the last update, the New Local Project screen, window for selecting Source Language, won't fold open, I cannot choose or enter a source language. This is a critical bug/issue as it renders Studio useless.

Well, as long as I can deliver it translated and the client is happy and pays my invoices, I'm fine. Besides that, I can't even pick a source language before I choose the file I want to translate so I don't see how those two are related.
Now I'm here anyway, the target language is somehow set at German by default (never did that) and I would like that to be Dutch (Netherlands). Where do I go to change that?

Mail sent. But I'm happy I can work on it now. And I hope the issue with "Tell me what you want to do" is solved at some point.

If we can even reproduce this problem... so far I can't.

Well I didn't change anything, this is the first time I'm trying to create a new project after the update released earlier today. So I don't know how it happened and can't help you in recreating it either.
Mail sent.
Thank you. File received, added to a project in Trados Live and opened in the editor without making any changes to the defaults. I sent you a screenshot.
I think, f you have time at some point you can share a bit more information than you have shared here about how you did this and what happened. Certainly Trados Live has no problem at all with your XML. Jerzy Czopik it is a very basic element only XML so the default is fine.

Thanks. I'll give it a try tomorrow and let you know if what's going on. It's now getting late.
Paul Hi Paul. Thanks for the update. In the past I learned never to use Any XML, but you (SDL/RWS) have revamped this file type recently, so I was really impressed how well it can handle unknown xml now. Nonetheless, dealing with XML remains usual a demanding task.
