Question

After installing Studio 21 we experience daily crashes. 
 Also even after the update. 
 Various possible solutions did not help. 
 In addition DeepL is activated either twice on one notebook or not. 
 On another notebook there is a message about old versions but we have the latest version from the App Store. 
 And from today Studio opens another instance when trying to edit a segment in xbench.

 You are looking in the wrong folders. Please close Trados Studio, delete these folders, restart Trados Studio and then reinstall your apps using the integrated appstore: 
 c:\Users\[ USERNAME ]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins 
 c:\Users\[ USERNAME ]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins 
 c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins 
 You are looking in this one: 
 c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16 
 The plugin folder is not in there.

 Two things here. 
 
 you need to update XBench - see this post: https://community.rws.com/product-groups/translationproductivity/f/studio/39022/studio-opens-another-instance-when-trying-to-edit-a-segment-in-xbench/126528#126528 
 DeepL - it is crystal clear from that message that either the plugin or Trados Studio are not compatible. Please make sure you remove all the plugins from that users machine, then make sure that Trados Studio is up to date, and finally download and install the plugin using the integrated appstore. o not copy the plugin and share it around unless you are 100% certain that the version of Trados Studio you are installing it into is the correct one.
