The lack of detail here could make a meaningful reply a challenge and overly complicated.

So allow for me to highlight 2 scenarios with a brief tip for each

1. Studio crashes for all files?

If Studio is crashing for all files, then please do the following:

• Ensure you are on the latest version of Studio
• Run a repair

2. If Studio is crashing for only 1 project

• Short term / quick fix: Ensure your TM has been updated with all your translations. Create a new project using the source file. Pre-Translate and try Save Target As.

After installing windows 11, open trados studio to translate a word document, finifshed translation, tried to save target as, studio closes. 

Carmen Febres-Cordero its still unclear from your comments if its is truly a Studio issue or a file issue. My advice that follows could vary significantly.

I assume you can save other project files and it is just this 1 in particular? 

In order to remove unwanted complexity as we try get the bottom of this, you are welcome to share your file with me in a way that you deem secure and safe. If you cant do that then all I can suggest is:

1. take source file and create new project

2. do not apply translations

3. do a batch copy source to target

4. try save target as

If you can do that successfully then it suggests nothing is wrong with the source file.

In that case:

5. clear target side

6. reapply TM

7. try save target as
