Its not that often that I hear that all project files are removed.

A few questions I have:

• What changes were made to the working environment were Studio is installed?
• Where do you typically save your projects, locally to your machine or do dropbox?
• How you initiate your projects? Via drag drop, official project creation or package imports?

Kaspersky analysis was suCcessful. A reported Kaspersky event showed around 18h00 windows\installer\2738aa2.msi object, with application name RuntimeBroker. Event appeared as not treated. No idea what this is.
Projects are stored locally in folder Studio 2021/Projects.
Problem occurred round 18h00 local time when I tried to install a new sdlproj file with preexisting folder structure. The way I did it this time was to copy sdlproj file and folder structure in Studio 2021/Projects folder and then clicked on the sdlproj file to install project on Studio. But, on that occasion, I made a mistake and it's while I tried to rectify it and went to the Studio 2021/Projects that all files disappeared from projects.
