UI tasks, comments for high fuzzy matches missing after putting translations in.

In Studio 2019, when translating UI tasks,

for high fuzzy matches, before touch the target place, there are comments for them; but after the translations get into target place, we could not find the comments under the comments tab.

Could you kindly help how to keep the comments unchanged in the original place?

  • Hi

I am struggling to fully appreciate what is concerning you. I understand its related to comments and pre-translate.

But we have 2 types of comments depending on file.

    1. Localised comments

They are comments that needs to be localised and you will see them in the editor view, as we see below

Trados Studio editor view showing a segment with a localised comment highlighted in purple and a comment box on the right.

    2. Reference comments

Or comments are in a tab as you mentioned - which dont get localised but act as a reference. As seen below

Trados Studio interface with a red arrow pointing from a 'Reference' comment in the Comments tab to the corresponding segment in the editor view.

Is your question about how not to translate comments that fall part of the editor view, 1. Localised comments ?
