My problem is that in the target files is inserted a 'page separator', which creates white pages.

And the source was a PDF? The "page separator" was certainly present in the source too.

yes, it was a pdf.
Is there a way to eliminate the "page separator" before downloading the document? It makes me a lot of problems
with the formatting.
No. You need to reformat the document in target. This happens very often if you let the PDF be simply automatically converted by any program. A better way is to convert the PDF using a decent OCR software, prepare it properly and then to translate.
You can try the following:
Press CTRL+A, then CTRL+D. On the second tab reduce the character width by 0,2 points and set the scaling to 99%.
If this is not enough, change the font size. For example, if the font used is 12 point, change it to 11 point. Use search and replace, chose Format, Characters and replace all 12 point by 11 point.
Change the font from standard to narrow, for example change Arial to Arial Narrow. Same method as above, but now replace font name by another font name.
For the future: never translate PDF directly, but always use OCR before. And try to learn something more about formatting in Word, it pays for itself.
