I'm having problems with double clicking in File Explorer. I've upgraded Studio to the latest version, tried uninnstalling\reinstalling. Checked the file associations, ran the .reg file just to be sure and also tried the trick of using a registry cleaner beteween uninstaling and reinstalling. Anybody with any further suggestions?
You didn't tell us which files you are trying to open with a double-click, but my advice would be not to do this anyway! It's faster and more reliable to always open files, whether they are source files, sdlxliff files or sdlproj files, via the commands in Trados studio itself. It's easy enough to set up shortcuts to copy the path to the files you wish to select and then work from windows explorer or some other file manager so navigate around your files and projects.
At least that would be my suggestion:-)

Sorry I wasn't clear. We are trying to open sdlxliff and sdl proj file from within File explorer by double clicking. The user with this problem has always worked this wy as she finds it the quickest was for her to work. The other users in the company have this working without problems.
