Termbase function frequently fails - so terminology help in Trados Editor often unavailable

Hello everyone,

I have been using Trados Studio (currently SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 15.2.8.3007) for roughly two years, and a problem that frequently arises is that the termbase functionality fails while I am working in the editor.

Usually in the editor, any terms in the text I am translating are marked with a red line over them if they are found in the termbase.

Unfortunately this function often simply disappears/stops/ceases to work in the course of my translation work. Sometimes it starts working again if I simply close the file in the editor and reopen it again, sometimes though I need to shut down Trados completely and restart it. But sometimes that doesn't even work.

On the other hand, sometimes it simply starts up again on its own.

Depending on the job I am working on, this can sometimes be very frustrating and cause unnecessary delays. What I would wish for is something reliable, but as it is, I am left having to revert back to other methods like excel worksheets to work with terminology lists. 

Any tips on fixing this would be very much appreciated.
