Hi Christine Matschke I dont think you fully explained your concern when you made this post.
But this is what I think you may be wanting to know:
When you have many repeated segments (repetitive source) and you make a correction/update target translation - how can you be sure this change is shown to all repetitive segments?
Example: Segments 1,3,5,7 and 9 are repetitive
You translate segment 1 and the translation thereof is applied to ,3,5,7 and 9 thanks to a feature called auto-propagate
But during review, you notice an issue at segment 5. You want this change to update segments 1,3, 7, 9 and not just 5.
If yes, then please know this is possible. Please review your auto-propagate settings under File - Options - Editor
