Hi
My husband and I share Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus which can be activated on 2 devices.
Every time one opens a project, Trados can’t find the concerned TMs and TBs files that the other person saved as it can’t find the path.
We save all the files in Dropbox.
He uses Trados on Win 10 using wifi.
I use Parallels Win 10 desktop on MacBook Pro. My Mac is connected to the same wifi as my husband’s, but the Parallels Win shows it’s connected to Ethernet, which I don’t understand why.
For example, the paths of a TM file look like this
His \\C:\Users\(user name)\Dropbox\(folder A)\(folder B)\(folder C)\(folder D\(folder E)\project9999.sdltm
Mine \\Mac\Dropbox\(folder A)\(folder B)\(folder C)\(folder D\(folder E)\project9999.sdltm
Based on this, we suspect the potential causes of the problem as
1: One license is used on 2 different devices under different names.
2: The 2 devices are under different network connection (One is wifi and the other is Ethernet)
3: The paths are different.
Does anyone have an idea?
