We recently bought a Studio 2021 Professional license (as an upgrade from Studio 2019 Professional). Until yesterday, I worked with one of our Studio 2021 Freelance Plus licenses. Now I need the Professional version, so I upgraded the license in our account and managed to generate a new activation code for it.
Then, I wanted to deactivate the Studio 2021 Freelance Plus license on my computer and then activate the Professional version. Deactivation of the Freelance license from within Studio failed with this error message:
I then went to our account and was able to deactivate my license there. I got a success message, and our account shows one available Freelance license now:
However, bad surprise: On my computer, I am still able to start the Freelance version! When trying to deactivate it, I get the same error message as before so I am unable to use my Professional license.
For internal reasons, I would like to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling Studio (maybe this would not help at all) and hope there is another way of solving this - your internal license management seems to be erratic at the moment.
