I reviewed the thread you indicated and indeed I am facing the exact same problem already described by the colleague.

I am currently using Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.8.9097.

Is there no solution to this issue yet?

We need to wait for a fix for CRQ-27390.It is flagged as high so hopefully we will get more clarity soon.
To reconfirm, the issue raised was for Concordance not working for certain certain words / expressions - so it is very specific vs it simply not working at all.

Actually, the translator who raised the issue also wrote the following:

"I've noticed that this issue happens quite a lot, so it's not just those words. I already created another TM for new tasks but I'm still using this one for lookup & concordance so it would be nice if it worked"

So the issue does not concern only certain words/espressions. The problem is that it is not possible to perform concordance searches in existing TMs that are manually attached to a project.

Regardless of how a TM is added to a project we still have a reported issue where certain words/expressions are unable to be correctly looked up for concordance.
Where as the same TM used for a different word/expression does work. Meaning concordance works sometimes but not always.

Just wanted to clarify the nature of the item raised to ensure yours match or if your reported issue is different and you require further support.

In my case, concordance never works when I add an existing TM to a project.

So I basically cannot perform any searches in the main TM, which of course is very inconvenient.

Please also note that I never had this problem before. It is related to Studio 2021.

To clarify for anyone who is following this post.

While there are intermittent issues with concordance search for certain words/expressions which is logged under CRQ-27390, the issues reviewed with Cristina Demagistris did seem more wide spreed. 

I managed to resolve it by upgrading / maintaining her TM, using the instructions from this article: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0034935
