Hello KRZYSZTOF PĘTLAK , please look into adding Trados Studio as an exception to the antivirus, and also add the path C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\SDLTempFileRegen as an exception to the antivirus. It is possible that during the time Trados is idle, the antivirus locks or removes the temporary files Trados created at that location, so Trados can no longer find them. Yes, I even uninstalled the antivirus for several days and the problem persisted. I forgot to mention , the problem occurs randomly -  sometimes it happens after 10 minutes of Trados idling, other times it does not occur even if I left it open for one hour.

KRZYSZTOF PĘTLAK the antivirus, or another cleaning tool, or even Windows could clean the temp folder (if too full). I recommend to save the SDLXLIFF and close it from Editor view, to avoid this situation where Trados is trying to save a version in the temp location, but something else interferes with it reaching / saving to that path.
