The release notes for 2021 did say that this functionality was removed.  This and other "legacy" functions were taken out on purpose, so this isn't a bug.  There is a plugin that has been provided to restore most of the lost functionality, but unfortunately this particular part you are looking for has gone.  You can read more on this in these articles (there is a translate feature in the top right of the article so it's easy to get a simple gist in German):

The reason I provided the articles is because the questions you are now asking are in there.  The reason I mentioned the release notes is because the answer to why this was removed is in there too.  I think it would be really helpful if you were to read through these tings first and then we'll be really happy to answer any questions you still have after that.

The new SDL Trados Studio 2021 release removed the following broad components from Studio:

• Trados 2007 Components
• TMS Support for Synergy Packages
• TTX, ITD and Workbench filters.
• WorldServer Components
• Translation Memory Migration Tool

The reasons for moving them were as follows:

1. The codebase for these features is based on very old code
2. This old codebase is heavy, and it’s difficult to maintain as Studio starts to take advantage of newer and better technologies
3. The feedback and telemetry data that we receive suggests these features are actually used by a rather small number of people compared to the overall userbase
4. Without this old code Studio can be lighter, easier to install and more responsive
5. Continuing to improve Studio without this old code in the future will be far easier to manage allowing many of the improvements the majority of our users would like to see to become realised

So far the success of this move is compelling… at least in terms of the significant reduction in the number of users having problems installing and licensing the product.

Nach Neuistallation der App-kein Update der Tms möglich.

Ich verstehe es so, dass alle von ihnen angegebene Komponente für Komputerliguisten bestimmt sind und nicht für Übersetzer, den diese arbeiten mit WORD-DOKUMENTEN.

Update oder Upgrade? Es sind zwei paar Schuhe...

Außerdem sind Linguisten, die nur mit Word-Dokumenten arbeiten, eine Gefahr für unseren Beruf. Denn moderne Übersetzer arbeiten mit allen Formaten, nicht nur mit Word.
