Windows 11

Hi

I always recieve reminders to update to Windows 11.

That can be done automaticely but I have none idea whether there will be any problem with Trados 2021.

Is there any issue with Trados after I have updated to Windows 11 - even a license issue?

Does anybody has experiences with that?

I am planing to buy a new computer in March with Windows 11 installed anyway and I have a Trados Plus license so I have no need for any update and would do it only if there is absolutely no problem or effort afterward.

I need to work with Trados constantly instead puzzle out problems.

Thank you for any advice

Peter

There shouldn't be.  W11 is supported with Trados Studio 2021, just make sure yo deactivate your licence before upgrading just in case, and then reactivate afterwards.

If it was me, even though I work for RWS, under these circumstances I would not do the upgrade.  What's the point?  You just never know what could affect things and we have no idea what else you are running or what might be the cause of a problem.  In the perfect world it should be straightforward... but we don't live in a perfect world!  So if you don't need to do it then don't!  You'll be kicking yourself if your ability to work is affected.
