It would be interesting to know what GroupShare version your client has, to understand if there is a compatibility issue or maybe some other local problems that can be looked further into.

For your reference, please see below the compatibility of GroupShare version with Studio versions:

In addition, please let us know which GroupShare version is used by your client. If it's an unsupported version, indeed there is a compatibility issue. However, if the GroupShare used is compatible, then we'd need to check other local interferences.

Looking at that chart you've linked to, I'd say it's GS 2015 since the server doesn't work with Studio 2021, but works flawlessly with Studio 2017. I will ask the client, but they are very slow to reply and it has to go through a PM first as well.

But I gather from your answer that there's no general fix for this problem? Like a compatibility plugin or the option to use older Studio versions when needed. This seems to me like something RWS should have a solution for, and if there isn't that will really make me hesitate to do an upgrade next time a new version of Studio is released.
