How to make existing / old source TU visible?

Question

Hello, 
 I would like to make existing source TU visible without using Record Source TU (only applicable for new TU) and without customizing value fields manually. 
 Manually would take so much time ... I work with Studio 2019.

 I'm not sure I really understand what you would like. What do you mean by the "existing source TU"? Do you have a TM that already contains this information as a field so it could be shown?

 Thanks for your further explanation, but to be honest I'm none the wiser. Here's what I understand so far: 
 
 you want to be able to record which project a particular TU comes from 
 you don't want to use fields and attributes (which is what they are intended for) 
 you don't want to use "Record Source TU" which is the only way to do this with some automation as anything else would require you updating the fields manually for each project you work on 
 
 Can you perhaps explain how you envision this working? Maybe if you explain how you'd like this to work and what you'd like to see then we can help. But so far I think this: 
 
 you cannot get this information from an existing TM where you have not recorded this information because it is not held automatically 
 the only tool we have available to automate this going forward so that it will be available for you in the future is RecordSourceTU

 Just to confirm again. This is only going to be possible if you have specifically added this to your TUs when you translate. You will not find this information in a translation memory that has not been customised to hold the information in an additional field. So you can start recording it now (RecordSourceTU) but you cannot get this information from a TM where it wasn't similarly recorded in the past. 
 The application from Kelly looks interesting, but if you haven't recorded the project you won't find it with that application either.
