I was working on SDL Trados Studio 2019 Freelance Plus, my computer froze, I had to restart it and when I opened Trados it appeared as if I had just installed it and all my projects disappeared. Do any of you know how to solve this problem?
I was working on SDL Trados Studio 2019 Freelance Plus, my computer froze, I had to restart it and when I opened Trados it appeared as if I had just installed it and all my projects disappeared. Do any of you know how to solve this problem?
First check, if no filter is set in the projects view. Make sure, all filter are set to "Show all projects". If even then you are missing your projects, click "Open project" and navigate to the folder where your projects are stored, opening them one by one.
No data should be lost, only the projects list might got damaged. To avoid such problems in the future, set a backup routine for making a backup copy of the file projects.xml in Documents\Studio 2019\Projects on daily basis (preferably at the end of your daily work).
