License blocked

I had to replace my HD and therefore reinstall Studio 2014. After reinstalling it, the error message App is not configured for LanguageCloudUrlsConfig appeared and prevented me from launching Studio 2014. The only way was to remove Studio and try to reinstall it once more, but after I did that I couldn't activate my license. I've been struggling to return the license or reactivate the App, but unsuccessfully. Does anybody know to fix this? The Return license/Force return option does not appear in my SDL Account license page.

  • Hi Rawlinson,
If you have a Professional version of SDL Trados Studio then the option to force a return and regenerate a licence is not available. In this case you will need to go to the SDL Solution Finder at http://kb.sdl.com/#tab:SFTab:crumb:0 and then drill down through the "Licensing Problems" and I use Trados Studio 2011 /2014 options so you are at "I need to have my licence reset". click on this and you will be asked to complete a form which will go to SDL Support with a request to reset your licence.
    Hope this helps.
    Phil.
