Hi everyone. I have had a recurring issue with my Studio 21. When I create a new project and add Word files, almost always there is one that, when I reach a certain segment, just blocks the editor and makes Trados shut down. It happens always I just put the cursor in that segment. I really need help.

It sounds as though you have a file problem... either a bad file, or a bug we need to resolve. The best way to resolve these things yourself is to divide and conquer. Split the file into two and then open each half separately. Hopefully one of them will fail. Split the one that fails and repeat. Keep doing it until you find the offending page. You can then, if you're curious, split the page and do the same until you find the specific thing that causes the problem. This way you can remove te offending bit from your file and translate it, finally put the dodgy bit back in your translated file and send to your client.
