I think this might be because the old 2017 version of the plugin uses V1 of their API.  That version was deprecated by DeepL and as we don't support 2017 anymore we won't be fixing it for that version.  Tagging Oana Nagy as I think we should remove the 2017 version from the appstore.

If you happen to know a developer, or can code yourself, then you could try and update the plugin for 2017 as we have open sourced the code.  You can find it here:

Alternatively you'll need to upgrade to a more recent version of Trados Studio.

Good question and clearly I didn't read your original post well enough!

I don't have an answer to that one!  Trados Studio 2017 is old enough to work without concerns on W7.  If the plugin doesn't work there I'm afraid I don't know why not.  But one thing I think is certain is that we won't spend time investigating it.  So unless some kind soul still working in that environment has a suggestion you may be faced with upgrading something... windows, trados etc...
