All my projects have been deleted on Trados 2021, including all my TMs

. When I open TRados today, it gave me a Welcome to Trados, as if I had just installed a new Trados, which is not the case. I don't know what to do. I lost everything!!

First: don't panic. You certainly did not lose all your TMs because Translation memories are separate files and never get deleted by Studio unless you decide to manually delete them. Even uninstalling Studio would not delete your TMs.

Second: you did not lose everything! The only thing you may have lost is the list of your ongoing projects, it is kept in one single file, which may have been deleted by a cleaning tool integrated in an antivirus suite. But even if this happened, the projects themselves are still there, they also don't get deleted unless you do this manually. This means that you can always get your projects back using the command "Open project" and navigating to the folder where you store your projects (by default in 'Documents\Studio 2021\Projects').

But before you do this, follow the suggestion of Elisa and check whether you inadvertently modified the filter settings and simply do not see your projects although they still are in the list. This is something that happens quite often and makes people panic although nothing happened except that the list is not any more visible.

    Good luck.
