Problem adding source/target term to Multiterm TB from Studio 2014 SP2

When I try and add a new term from a project in Studio 2014 SP2 to a Multiterm 2014 SP2 termbase by highlighting the source term (Spanish) and target term (English UK) and then selecting Add New Term, it only adds the target term under English in the Flags Layout on the Termbase Viewer, and no source term under Spanish. Even if I highlight only the source term (Spanish) and try to add it separately, it is still not added. Maybe it's because the original project .html document, despite being in Spanish, was created in English (US) - this could not be changed so the project had to be assigned the language pair EN (US) to EN (UK). I changed the termbase source language to Spanish, but I still cannot add source terms to it. Not sure what to do here...

  • Hi Charles,

Apologies for this late response... maybe you've sorted this already now?

If not, can you check the indexes are correct in the termbase settings in Studio?  If they are then it might be something you can resolve by changing the structure of your termbase a little (possibly needed due to a bug) so you use picklist values for the language variants.  This is sometimes a good idea anyway as it can offer more flexibility with QA checking.

There is a video here explaining how to do this for someone else with a similar issue:
