Trados 2022 Manager (Beta) First Impressions

I've just upgraded to Trados 2022 and the following are my impressions.

It is really helpful to have projects and files in one view. Thumbs up for the idea!

Separate search fields for files and projects are also very handy, especially when a project contains hundreds of files, and I need to make amends to specific ones. It's really a time saver. As for Confirmation and Analysis Statistics widows in that view, it would be better to have them visible at a glance (just like in the Files and Projects views), without the need to click the buttons. Too many clicks are time consuming. And we have to click the same buttons again to hide these popups. I don't know what is the original idea behind Beta Manager - whether to remove Projects and Files views completely in the future and leave only Manager or not, but surely it is better to have statistics visible all the time. Or perhaps to leave us the possibility to choose whether we want to pin these windows permanently or hide them.

Furthermore, I like the idea that Manager is like a project preview. We can remove previews by simply clicking the x button of a project in the header. Yet, a project is not removed from the Manager until we remove it from the Projects view. Colour-coding is also helpful, with current preview being dark green.

However, I think it would be helpful to have a tooltip at hovering over statistics buttons on the right (encircled in red in the screenshot) as we do not know what they refer to. I like that there are these tooltips all over Studio, so having them here would be its standard feature.

Batch tasks are also intuitive: if no file is selected, a task is run on the whole project; if any file(s) is selected, a task is run on that file(s).

The entire view is lightweight and does not cause any lagging or slower switches between options/windows etc.

So far so good.
