Not able to customize my quick access bar in Studio 2022

I'm not succeding in customizing my quick access toolbar. I can't delete the items I don't want (for example, Undo or the App Store), and I also can't add the ones I want, such as Save Target As. I've already tried many different solutions, exiting and reopening Studio, even restarting my machine, but so far nothing worked. I've read some similar issues in Studio 2021, but none of the solutions suggested has worked for me. Thanks!

  • It is a little flaky as a feature and we do have some outstanding bug reports.  But in the meantime something that we have found can help is that if you make the changes, and then restart Studio, the changes may well be there afterwards.  But I'd also have to say this doesn't always work at all.

The other thing, and this is probably the most important, is that you make these changes in the view it makes most sense.  So if I add "Save Target As" when I happen to be in the projects view for example then I experience the same as you.  However, if I open a file for translation and then make the change I will see it:

Trados Studio screenshot showing the 'Save Target As' option in the File menu, with an arrow pointing to the Editor view where a file named 'gaming_usecase.xlsx.sdlxliff' is open on 'Sheet1'.
