When I want to activate my license, I get an error message from Trados

Error message in Trados Studio stating 'The product license has been deactivated and SDL Trados Studio will now exit. To start SDL Trados Studio again, you must activate the product.' with an OK button.

I`ve checked your account and you have a 2021 license. Studio 2019 should work if it`s installed on the same computer where Studio 2021 is installed as described in this article: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0033843

You can try the below steps:

Close Studio.

Go to: C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio15\Data

Rename the file Studio.lic, e.g. to Studio_old.lic.

Note: If you can't find the path above, open Windows File Explorer, click on View and check "Hidden Items" checkbox.
