I am sorry if this sounds repetitive but I am going around houses with this...

I am a newbie with Trados Studio 2021, I went through the training materials and I practised with the samples and no problem at all. I have created a new project and I am translating docs (pdfs and words) within that project (I have Spanish modern and Spanish international as target languages in the project) but the rest is all Spanish international sort as target. I have checked the project settings, file options, etc but the spelling check doesn't work at all. I have ticked "spell check as you go" but either with both of the systems, Ms or the other one, it doesn't flag any single error. When I click F7 it doesn't work either and I have tried with pdfs and word docs in case it gets temperamental with the pdf, but no luck.

I have created a new translation memory and I have added it to the project (in case this has something to do with it, but I don't think you) and I don't have a term base created.

I imagine it is something I am doing wrong since it used to work in the beginning while practising with the samples provided by the software but I can't seem to find where is the trick.

Could you please help me to figure it out?
